Charlie loves his living butterfly collection. When he captures his favorite, to his surprise, the Black Swallowtail speaks. The butterfly explains how she needs sunshine, nectar, and the freedom to fly, so he lets her go. On his way home, during a blinding thunderstorm, Charlie falls into an abandoned well. Black Swallowtail hears his cries and enlists the help of an alert dog, a mischievous cat, and a wacky squirrel to help Charlie’s parents rescue him.
